Since 1984 CoreCard’s management team has been
responsible for developing 3 of the most widely used card and accounts receivable
management systems on the market, CardPac®, Vision21® and VisionPlus®. Never happy
resting on achievements, the team leveraged their decades of industry and product
knowledge to build CoreCard’s new suite of card and account management products.

When CoreCard embarked on building this new industry
driven solution, the focus was on ways to reduce deployment and operating costs.
Common functionality, used across various operational platforms, is contained in
a shared environment. This environment, CoreENGINE, is leveraged by the various
applications that make up CoreCard’s suite of products. By applying this approach,
CoreCard reduces the amount code necessary to run the applications and eliminates
duplication of coding efforts when adding new functionality.
From the start, CoreCard engineered these applications
to run on inexpensive hardware and operating systems. This makes it possible to
run CoreCard’s suite of products outside of a mainframe environment, in less
costly physical environments. Smaller organizations benefit from this approach,
as it makes it affordable for them to bring these products in house.
